Come to the Farmers' Market for a harvest-gathering celebration of those who support local organic food, offering culinary pleasure with awareness and fun! Here you can see demos and enjoy samples from some of Boulder Country's finest farmers, chefs, culinary artists, and food educators.

Unity of Boulder
This evening will not be a formal debate, but a series of thoughtful “TED Talk” style presentations along with dialogue between presenters and the audience. The goal is to raise public discourse about GMOs to a new level.

First Annual Slow Food Boulder County Bicycle Tour de Farms. 15-mile loop through gorgeous farm country north of Boulder. Visit Lone Hawk Farm, Aspen Moon Farm, Sol 7 Sombra and Stonebridge Farm. Pick up veggies and head back for a gourmet picnic.

This is a wonderful opportunity to talk directly with this celebrated farmer, prolific author, and inspiring speaker who has drawn much attention to the local food movement through his work.

This invitation-only “insider’s briefing” will begin with economist and food system activist Michael Shuman revealing the long-awaited results of the first phase of the Food Localization Study on the potential economic impacts of increased food localization in Colorado. A key purpose of this study is to provide economic perspective and data that will help justify significantly increased investments in local food and farming enterprises, especially in infrastructure redevelopment.
